Aurifil 40 wt is 100% cotton thread. This is the "universal" thread weight in Mako' range, great uses for this thread are; machine quilting,
embroidery, machine piecing, cross stitch, long arm quilting, and hand
piecing. Cotton Mako' Ne 40 is a relatively fine thread so it makes a nice flat seam for piecing patchwork, supplied on a green spool. Aurifil is a 40 wt 2 ply, 150 meters (164 yards) on a spool.
